Piston seals for hydraulic cylinders separate the two pressure chambers on the rod and piston side of the cylinder. They seal the pressures during the stroke phase and position holding operation of the cylinder. There are single and double acting designs. The individual profile design show specific behaviours and performance which need to be in line with the application´s requirement.
Basic materials: All know types of rubber, polyurethane (Ultrathan®), PTFE (Polon®), fabric reinforced elastomers and plastic materials.
